These recordings are from a live concert in Brighton, April 2011. They are part of a local school series of concerts exploring a variety of music from around the World. The group was set up by Simo, with musicians from France, England Morocco and Burkina Faso. They mix sacred Gnawa music, which is a traditional form of spiritual trance music from Morocco, with Reggae, Blues, Rock and Afro Beat.
