Both these bands are Romani (Gypsy) musicians originally from Poland, now living in the UK. The bands have existed and played together in different guises for several generations, as the older musicians have retired, new younger members have joined, they are all family and friends. The music and culture is passed down through generations.

This is a live recording from St Ethelburgas Centre for Reconciliation and Peace. The Music concerts at the venue are organised by Wallee McDonnell. We've included his introduction to the bands and a short chat he has with them as part of the recording, so as to give some background information about the band, and the venue itself.
